better pics of “damage”
info on crashes?
GLWS…seems like a good deal
decent deal
Just FYI, but what is involved in re-registering a salvaged bike? Is there an inspection/certification process?
More info on crash? Frame?
yea… they basically just make sure your bike doesnt have any stolen parts on it… they really dont check to make sure things are straight or 100% back to normal.
I will grab some better pics after work tonight.
First crash caused it to get a Rebuilt Salvage title. Went through Salvage inspection and passed. Damage seemed to be cosmetic as most of the plastics were replaced, scratches to right side of from above rearset. I do not know 100% for sure the complete damage or cause as I did not own the bike when it happened.
Second crash a lady backed into it while in the driveway for sale. Scuffed headlight, cracked front fender, and knocked the bike on its side. No workl has been done since this accident. Kickstand seems bent too.
Drives fine. Took down the rode to 40mph with no poblems. Frame and forks appear straight.
Everything has already been done with the state certification process. Title reads “Rebuilt Salvage” Just take it to the DMV like any other vehicle and register it. No other BS is needed to be done to get this on the road.
who’s bike is this steve-bay?
Not yours, but it could be. Its mine, but I decided on something different. Already have one good bike. Need to sell for a quad. Looking to run hare scrambles in the spring.
wow thats a nice bike. good deal
I could use a matching track bike… hmmmm
that would be a great stunt bike i say keep it for playing around
I thought about that too, but would rather it be a track bike. I do know of a great stunt bike for sale 04 kawasaki 636, caged, street fightered, geared, and ready to go.
