2 ferrets, one male, one female. Both are very healthy, well cared for and happy. Only reason we’re selling is because we have 4, and it’s a bit much for us right now. As a package you get both ferrets, 5ft cage, 1 hammock, 1 hanging tube thing, water bottle, food dish, some food, and 1 blanket.

The Male - Whitey:
Just went to vet to get medicine for a stomach bug he had. Have receipts for the visit, he is 100% healthy now. He’s got the most playful personality out of the bunch, and also sleeps the most because he plays so hard. Does very well with our beagle we have, is not intimidated at all.
The Female - Katie:
She’s the queen bee of the bunch. Very strong personality, can easily entertain herself. She loves to hide things on you, and she will find a way into anything she wants to get in. She loves to be held.
The cage:
5ft tall, about 3.5ft wide, 2ft deep. 3 stories, wire bottom with removable tray for litter. Front right wheel is broken, could be jb welded or I’ve got it on a block of wood which works wonderfullly.

feel free to bring them over. when we got 3 new ones our 1st hated them, but we let them play together for an hour at a time, had them sleep in seperate cages for a week and now they have 0 problems.
out of curiousity, is there a way to avoid the smell that’s associated with them? everytime i’ve ever been to someone’s house that has ferrets the smell is horrid.
maybe not though. i’ve been to jay’s house quite a few times and didn’t know he had one.
ours are neutered/descented so they don’t smell that bad. if you give them baths on a regular basis it keeps in under control. there is also daily sprays, but that’s expensive.
as for the smell, they themselves don’t stink, their poo is a little stinky. but as stated before you can easily rid that by adding a treatment to their food. we let ours roam all day when it was just 1, we don’t let the 4 because their cage is plenty big. if you ferret-proofed your room you can let them roam. stop by to see them if you’d like, no commitment to buy, we love showing them.
you don’t happen to still have them do you? my financee and i lost our dog over a month ago and we really want so more action around the house… besides, our ferret needs a friend.
Yeah, i’ve got them, but it’s not the female and whitey anymore, its the female katie, and our other male bandit. whitey just had some medical problems and we don’t feel comfortable letting him go. all of our others have been treated for “green slime” disease except whitey i guess. so if you have another ferret in the house, get him his antibiotic. feel free to stop over to see them if you’d like.
with the disease whitey was sick for 2 days, and now he’s 95%. he just sleeps more than usual. the antibiotic is cheap and a very good idea with all ferrets, it’s like ferret flu. we were under the assumption they all had their shots…guess we shouldn’t have assumed.
