180000km on the car. Don’t know about the engine because it is from Japan. I would guess the mileage to be under 80000km. The frame and body is in really good shape.
I am not saying it wouldn’t pass the etest. I never drove the car with plate before, so I didn’t have to get the etest done. The car is just running on stock boost and the catalytic converter is brand new (carsound). So the car might pass.
As for the graphics on the car, its just vinyl. They can be taken off easily. I can take them off in ten minutes no problem.
It wasn’t a track car. Its just that I can’t afford to pay insurance for two cars. I worked in a garage before, so I can borrow the yellow plate to drive it once in a while. That’s why most of the mods on the car have really low mileage use on them.
I has the car insured under my friends name before, because I was sharing the car back then. The insurance didn’t know about the swap. I was only paying about $1800 for the year. But the insurance didn’t know about the swap because I bought insurance before the swap. But I heard from some people that when you replace the engine with a smaller displacement engine, they don’t really care. But that might be just rumours.
I have my other car as a daily driver, so I never bother to plate the car after that no matter how much the insurance was.
