FS: unassembled Hahn Super 16g turbo and o2 housing

I am just seeing if this will sell like this first. If I don’t get any bites, I will have it assembled, and sell it for way more.

The turbo is a Hahn Super 16g with a welded closed wastegate (by Hahn), so that the owner can run an external wastegate. The exhaust housing uses a standard T3 flange, and then the turbo o2 housing uses the Hahn 3 bolt flange, so I am including the entire Hahn o2 housing.

The compressor side is the normal Hahn Super 16g compressor, with a 2.5" inlet and a 2" outlet.

Also included are every part of the turbo, just unassembled. The center section, bearings, exhaust wheel, 16g impeller, center clamp, gaskets, etc… It just needs to be re-assmebled. Hahn quoted me $225 to have them do it, and I am sure local shops can do it for more or less, depending on where you take it.

Because it is unassembled, I am only asking $150 for it! Hahns website talks all about this turbo, and how it is very efficient, makes boost very fast down low, and is rated at 400 whp. Neons using this turbo go 11’s at around 122 mph.

Here are some photos of it:

Not pictured is everything else mentioned above, like the center section, etc… Everything is in wonderful condition! This price seems VERY fair. If you have any feelings otherwise, let me know, and we can negotiate.

Whys it apart? Any damage to the shaft? Did you mark the location of the compressor wheel to the shaft upon removal or will i also need to balance it?

Hey Mark, do you have any pics of the actual 02 housing?

You will need it balanced, I would never re-assemble a turbo without balancing it.

I can not say for sure, since the owner in 2003 / 2004 had it apart, but I believe it was taken apart to upgrade to EWG and the super 20g internals at the same time, and then he decided to stick with an internal wastegate, so he has the turbo currently on the car, the super 20g. This was the spare turbo in the MANY boxes of parts that I got with the car. There is no damage to either wheel, or the compressor housing, not a single scrape or anything, so I have no reason to beleive that it was damaged at all. Again, when Hahn or whoever rebuilds it, they will balance it and I would assume use new bearings, but that is expected with any turbo rebuild.

That is why I am selling this turbo so cheap, since it needs to be assembled. I’ve sold so many items and haven’t had any upset people (at least any who admited it :spank: ), and on sites like neons.org I have a few hundred feedback from selling parts, so I can only say don’t worry so much, but my feedback usually speaks for itself!

I am out of town until Tuesday night, but then I will get some photos. One of the welds came undone, so I am having Dan (the guy with the crazy cavy build here) TIG it up for me, so it will be good as new. Its a nice 3 bolt flange to a 4 bolt downpipe flange, and it has an extra brace connecting the two flanges together for strength.

Here is a picture of the same o2 housing (just on my car, not the spare I have, on my car:
