then what is a dynasty? the steelers had back to back twice with two years in the middle, the niners had back to back once and 4 over 10 years, the cowboys had back to back once and 3 in 4 years and the pats just repeated that. How are they not a dynasty compared to those others?

also, jeff is just saying a dynasty should be 3 years with 3 wins. not 4 with 3 wins. in succession… the other teams you listed didn’t do this… thus, they shouldn’t be considered a dynasty either. i sorta agree… why should winning 3 times in 4 years be named anything?
