There must be something wrong with my KA the most I ever got was 375 km’s to the tank and that was once when I experimented by never shifting over 3000 RPM’s and not accelerating fast just so I can see what kind of mileage I can get to the tank.
…Then again Im running so rich you can smell raw fuel coming out of my exhaust  .
My winter car (1991 Buick Lesabre 3.8 L V6) has a 65 liter talk but it gets me between 500 to 600 per tank. If you average it out you will see that my 3.8 L V6 get’s better fuel mileage then my 2.4 L 4 cyl.
Some people say I get bad fuel mileage because of the modifications, the only mods I have done to the engine are a HKS cold air intake, the ports have been polished, hotshot performance header and a straight flow exhaust and it’s running pure rich but still…375 kms to the tank maximum! … I don’t know?.. I still think there is somethig wrong with my KA.
I don’t want to hear another person complain about there mileage, just sold my 240 and purchased a 2001 740il and get this *95 liter gas tank I use 91 octane.
When gas prices were high I filled up with 91 rather than 94 to help offset
the costs… After driving the car for the past couple weeks on 91 the car
seems like its not running as well as it had been before. I am only running
0.45 bar (7psi) on the SR.
I don’t think that would’ve fouled the plugs, but the engine has a little tiny
bog to it every few seconds when its idling, and my fuel economy is down
a bit.
