I am in the process of changing my fuel filter and wanted to know where is the location of the fuel pump fuse or relay. I need to disconnect it so i can relieve the sytem from the fuel pressure. It is an s14.
P.S i know it should be somewhere in the fuse box but which one is it im not too sure.
you can do it from the trunk, unplug the connector thats under the metal bracket which goes to the fuel pump. then start the car until it dies and then crank a bit more after. open gas cap too so the gas can return into the tank
i dunno where the fuel pump fuse is for s14 but on s13 its in the engine bay
Your fuel pump fuse is located in your kick panel to the left of your clutch on the driver side. When you pull it out, there will be a diagram on the inside indicating the location of the fuse. The fuel pump fuse is a 15 amp fuse 10 down from the top on the left side or the 3rd from the bottom. Your fuel pump fuse is under the hood in the fuse box, middle row labled EGI which stands for electronic gas injection. That is your fuel pump fuse. I took pictures of the panel diagrams in case yours are worn out, since it will be easier for you to identify them that way.
I fucked up and called the relay a fuse too. I was in my car doing posting this, my bad. What sock are you using on what fuel pump if you mind me asking?
