alrite so not too long ago i replaced my fuel pump… it lasted about a month then my car was having trouble accelerating… lots of trouble like i mean i couldnt even get up to 80km/h. so i checked everything… then i decided to change the fuel pump and c what happens… that worked and my car was fine for about 4 months… now its doing the same thing. my brother is going to c if i can take it back again but i really dont feel like replacing it and having it fuck up again. is there something that could be causing this?
Unlikely but you could have a bad power source and the pump is not working to its proper output. A simple rewire can remedy this. Again, very doubtful though. Check the wires anyways.
What pump are you buying? Some cheap shit?
i switched my whole sending unit today out of my other car… and i believe i have the problem fixed with the other one… thanx ne ways
if this becomes a problem again, check wen the last time u changed ur feul filter. that can also cause the pump 2 burn out. more work for the pump = more stress. more stress = buring pumps.
I changed my fuel filter less than a year ago. one of the grounds was broken so i believe this was the problem.
