I WOULD LIKE TO FULL OUT ADD THE CAR TO THE FULBLOWN FAMILY!
So mmm ya… sponsor it! But more than that!
I talked to Megan Racing, and together we decided to hook you guys up. You basically are getting a chance to test out all these crazy Megan parts I sell, before you buy!
Megan and Fulblown are going to absorb most of the cost, including install!
Here is a list of things I would like you to consider: (everything is MEGAN RACING unless otherwise stated)
High Grade Aluminum Intercooler
Front and Rear Upper Strut Bars
Nismo Short Shifter
Racing Seats (PAIR) -pick a color
Stainless Steel Manifold
Stainless Steel Brake Lines (Earl’s)*
Racing Harnesses
Full Race Adjustable Coilovers
Steering Wheel and Hub*
Energy Suspension Full Kit*
As I said before, I will be absorbing most of the cost.
Jeff Baker told me he’d even paint up the valve cover for you!
I want to see this car on the track this year, and I want to keep racing off the streets.
You may ask what I want from this?
I want for you guys to get out there are have fun, win trophies, and maybe throw on a Decal or 2! I want you guys to see the quality of the products I sell, proven on the track as well, so you know what you’re putting into your own vehicles!
Wow, thank you guys for the offer it is very generous and is going to greatly add to the NECC race car.
We need to buy an SR for this thing. Maybe there is a company out there than can donate an engine at like half price and NECC could cover the rest. I would chip in $100 and some labour of putting the engine in if something like this were to happen.
If Fullblown is generous enough to make that kind of a deal, we should get a vinyl quarter panel decal when the car is painted. I don’t think a window banner is quite enough.
As far as cash goes, I can donate a pile towards the car. That said, we don’t really need everything right this instant. The seats and harnesses would be nice relatively soon, as would the suspension bits. The coilovers I would leave until the winter is over, unless Megan would like to test how well their parts will survive the winter.
I can’t believe the support for the race car project - keep it up guys, this’ll be so much fun when it’s ready to race.
God damn, I never expected to get real parts for this car. I figured we would be doing a whole lot of fabbing and frankensteining. Great to hear that you’re on board Josh.
Man, I’m going to have to buy another Nissan just to stay in this damn club. Bah! hehe
KA-T was the original plan, since it was the cheapest route. I don’t think we need to bump up to an SR right away because as you said Jared, there are tons of parts around to fix the KAs.
Jeff, did you manage to find out if Megan makes a turbo KA manifold?
