Fun DD options?

I’ll have to agree with this. I drove his car before he tore it apart and it was really nice with plenty of power for a daily. For what you’re looking for though ill have to agree that the 335 seems like the best option.

E46 M3 100% hands down. I drove mine daily for over a year and put nearly 20k miles and it was amazing. Even through the winter was great. Just spend decent money and get a well sorted and maintained one and you’ll be set. Minus little shit and maintance you should be just fine

Bump up the budget and get a B8 S4.

i think this is replying to me but im not sure. the X is a MUCH more refined car for sure than the 8/9. i was saying my car isn’t really that comfortable compared to the rest of his options

edit: i think i worded my last few sentences wrong in that previous post. i was talking about 9’s but now that i reread it , it does kind of look like i linked it to the X. just to clear that up

i think the G37s coupe should be right up there…

it’s not going to be as much fun as the BMW or a Merc or CTS-V but it’s a solid hedge bet.

with just a couple grand in suspension mods and a sprint booster it will be the most reliable and cheapest to operate car on the list and also be super easy to trade back in towards something else at any dealer. The interiors are just as good as a BMW and IMHO with a proper spring / strut combo it will out-handle any BMW short of an M3.

The more i think about these the more i think i’ll end up getting one to DD if i go a bit too far with my M3.

I see good ones in the very low $20k range…

I absolutely love my 09 G8 GT. Absolutely a blast to drive and great in the snow with the right tires.

e46m3 money is e39m5 money. Personally I like 4 doors on a dd, mostly because of hockey bags and the occasional third or fourth passenger. The e46 and e39 m’s are obv in a lesser pricerange than the 335 but fit in the less expensive category.

DD, not “fast” car, the BMW options are much better to drive. The WRX and EVO are OK for what they are, but there is no comparison.

X…

Watch out for the catlack converter…

Seems like a good price but I would need to know what was causing the code. Also, make sure the diff has been upgraded/replaced. Otherwise, that would be a quick expense.

I know this chick that just got an awesome boobjob and she let me try 'em out…can def. say they’re fun…

wait…

wrong definition of DD.

If you’re looking for a fun, quick, somewhat luxurious DD, I wouldn’t go with an STi. I can only speak to the '04 model year, but I can say that mine has never not gotten me where I needed to go. It has been very reliable despite the fact that’s it’s ten years old now, but I’m still stock. The interior fit and finish and quality of materials used leave quite a bit to be desired. I’d lean more towards a BMW if I were you.

used 911, used e92, new FR-S, new Miata Club,

lol yeah his spelling leaves sometime to be desired but that’s a sweet price and something tells me he will go lower

Mazdaspeed3.

That’s a very good price and they will always go lower.

Lol no

Ok. Just trying to give you a much cheaper option (that will be just as much fun) than what you already have in mind. Cheap bolt ons too. Easily over 300hp. El oh el.

If the Speed6 was still around
