Fun little toy for next season

holy shit thats baller stuff!, need somebody to dispose of the vq? lol… sick build dude!

Still need to make a base plate for them and fuel rails, as the stock intake is LSX style and is plastic and the fuel rails you could not adapt over. It really wouldn’t be a cheap proposition. If I get ITB’s down the road (likely) I’ll just get the prefabbed setup from Extrudabody and make my own carbon airbox.

Picked up my trans plate, also finished mounting up the front bodywork (I know it does not look like anything changed, but there is another 4 hours or so of bolting stuff up and working on fitment, and starting to run wiring). Going to do the aluminum undertray and tear down the trans tomorrow. Real photos and actual updates to come with real content… lol. Car goes in for paint the 15th.

Continued stringing wiring today. Nearly have my engine harness finished, and started wiring up the 370z headlights into the 350z harness (not a plug and play procedure unfortunately). Put all the brakes back on and put temporary control arms in till I finish the new ones so I can put the car back on the ground tomorrow. Also built my new undertray/spliter which goes from 1" in front of the bumper to the engine cradle. Hopefully this one lasts more than the 3 events the last one made it through lol…

The 370z nismo front bumper curves upward in the middle much like the 350z Nismo V3, so rather than just stretching the bumper down to the aluminum I used some extended studs with some nuts for spacers (which I eventually sprayed black) to keep the regular curve of the bumper.

Came inside for lunch, so here’s a new photo. Car has “old” control arms (non350z parts) which fucked with the caster too much and pushed the wheels forward. Going to make a new set this week probably that put things into spec and allow for more angle.
