Wow your a day late, and missinformed as usual. First off that thread said right in it no promise of banishment :picard:
Second fry resigned so :picard: :picard:
um wat?
buffalo is a FOOTBALL TOWN, not a hockey town. but as a full fledged bandwagoner at best, you would have no idea about that.
intentionally throwing SB’s?? LMAO. jim kelley? the sportswriter? are you retarded?
seriously just stay out of shit that you have NO CLUE about.
on topic, everyone STFU who bitches and complains. or go root for the pats, jets, or dolphins and find a suitable message board to bandwagon on.
haha I love the responses in this thread … overreact much?
Anyways… at least the team I grew up rooting for is back
do you live in the same buffalo that i do? lol
if you hate cheering for a losing team…how hard is it to find a new jersey and pick a winning team to cheer for?
Buffalo is only a hockey town as long as they are winning. Did you see this enthusiasm before before they started putting good seasons together?
Its been a hockey town ever since the Cup run back in the late 90’s imho … and with all the local players making it to the NHL lately its only going to get bigger
The local players will make people away of the NHL, but do you honestly think people here would be into hockey if we had a losing team?
This isn’t a town that supports any sport if you actually look at the teams we have. This is a bandwagon town. When the teams are doing well everyone supports them. The only reason why the Bills are so popular no matter what is because of the Canadian fans. The same does not apply for hockey because they have Canadian teams.
If the Sabres shit the bed for a few seasons it will be back to selling half of the seats for games and the no more waiting list for seasons.
yes, i do lol you have any idea how many people in this area are involved in hockey in some way? and whatever team is here, they will end up supporting
EDIT touching on your “bandwagon fan” statement, yes buffalo has alot of bandwagon fans, who go to the games just because they feel like its the “in” thing to do, and the real fans sometimes can’t even get tickets. if those bandwagon fans dropped, there would still be other people willing to take their place
Bills will never WIN the superbowl, and I think Buffalo understands that. When half of the Bills or Sabres get injured during the season, we understand that. When field goes are missed wide right, we understand that. I think Buffalo is doomed as far as sports teams are concerned (Aside from maybe the Bandits and Bisons).
Bump!
So do the bills actually have a chance?
the vegas odds are getting tighter and tighter for the bills!!! Was +1500 at one point a few weeks ago, now down to +550.
Bump.
CBS sports seems pretty damn optimistic for the Bills today
It’s our covid consolation prize.
Good season.
Can’t play like week six when you want to play with the big boys.
There’s always next year!
I’ve informed my Canadian wife to expect doom & gloom when she’s at work today because of how tied this city is to the Bills performance.
