My gf’s car has a gas leak (well i am pretty sure it does). anyone know somewhere she can take it around tonawanda and not get taken to the cleaners?
Crawl under there and see if you can see the leak. If so, get some of that gas tank repair epoxy and just fix it. Takes about 10 minutes and costs about $8.
What kind of car? Where’s it leaking from? I don’t know about gas tank repair epoxy. It’s been my experience that if a tank is leaking it’s usually from rot and it’s best to replace it.
I’ve never taken a car to a shop around here, but I asked one time for my buddie’s kid brother who was at UB and someone (I think MikeRi24) suggested Advanced Automotive on NFB. It’s the one that always has one or two UB cop cars sitting there.
i cant tell where its leaking from. i havent crawled under there yet. its on a 99 taurus. anyone have an idea of a ballpark price?
dude, if you’re leaking gas, keep her safe and buck up for a new tank install. might want to order new straps since the old ones’ll be rotted out. start calling some places for estimates w/out a hookup
