…i am broke cause of how many times a week i have to full up…i was wondering if i can use JB weld to fix my gas line…?
probably, but i wouldnt advise it… just cut out the section and put a rubber hose over it with clamps like near the fuel rail if you want to do it cheap without replacing it

exactly what he said…fuel injection line is needed thought Along with fuel injection clamps, 10 dollar fix…
make sure you are gentle with those rusty lines, cause they break easily when you touch them. and once they do another leak would appear.
or exhaust putty (epoxy)
1 - Cut at leak point
2 - Flare the two ends slightly
3 - File down any sharp edges
4 - Fit fuel hose over lines (I believe it’s 5/16" hoses)
5 - Clamp
6 - Done
I have had two spots on my car that have had a leak. Mind you the two spots were on the same
line and that was the return line which isnt pressurized.
Good luck
the problem is where it leaks…there is a white thing that looks like it holds the line up…its leaking from there…look at my pic to get more info…the (+) is where it leaks from…please help me…i only get 80k from $15 gas (80 cents / liter)

ps. i am willing to pay to get it fix…
Im pretty sure that white thing your describing is just holding the lines to keep
them organized…Its easily pry’d off with a flat screwdriver…But be very carefull
not to apply pressure to the other lines because you will end up with more leaks. Those white things your describing collect water and rust out the lines in those certian spots all along the undercarrage…those are the weakest spots.
I cant sleep so ill give you a little write up.
-
pull the fuel pump fuse start the car and let it die out…take off the gas cap…just to relieve pressure.
-
Jack the car up on the passenger side and place your saftey stands under there if you care about saftey.
-
locate the exact spot where its leaking…there should be a little metal bracket thats holding the white peice your explaining in place…you can easily pry it down without it breaking or attempt to unbolt the bracket with a 10mm.
-
Carefully pop the white peice that surrounds 1/2 the lines(brake, sending, return) DONT forget which line it is your fixing…they may all look like their about to start leaking…
-
verry verry carefully pull downwards on the line your repairing trying not to put pressure on the other spots where you see those brackets with white things(rem thats where the next leaks going to happen)
-
If you have enough room to use a pipe cutter go ahead and cut out the small section thats rusted out and leaking…if your afraid of pulling too hard on the line use some cutters and cut the line where the leak is then pull each side down individually and use the pipe cutter to make a nyce round cut on each side.
-
After the bad spots cut out and you find yourself with a line thats missing 1-3" of piping…stick a screw driver in the line and try to flare it a bit…take the cutters and roughen up the surface of the hardline so the rubber fuel hose will stay put after you clamp them down for good.
-
replace the section you cut out with the proper size fuel line and use 2 small hoseclamps/injector clamps(either have worked great for me) on both sides(so 4 clamps in total) Tighten them down and push that metal bracket you bent or removed earlyer back like it was supporting the line upwards and throw out the white peice that makes the lines look pretty and all soo parallel…It wont fit over the rubber hose anyways.
-
pop the fuse back in start it up and inspect for new leaks and the one you fixed…Veryyy important…take it SLOW for the 1st few minutes…I fkd up my brake line doing this the 1st time being too rough and i found out pretty quick.

Go spend time with your Gf/wife. My gf didnt mind the smell of 94 octane afterwards…do shower if your tanks anything less than 91 after this messy job…
