We still have it way better than Europe. We’re too spoiled.
Well I guess when you compare to the rest of the world. However in Canadian standards it is bad, and we live in Canada. In comparison to Canadian economics it will be bad.
When you dont get paid anymore money per hour to do the things you do, yet you have to pay almost 2x the amount in gas it is bad. And yes Europe has it bad as well, but I believe they have had it bad for years and years, and thus their economy has/is adapted to it. Also does their inflation rate really deeply affect our economy, or our ability to consume? No, not really. Does the potential for our inflation rate to go up affect our economy? Does this matter? Yes. Did the raise in TTC prices affect Europeans in Europe? No I dont think so. There are tons of other gas related issues that show why it IS as bad as it seems for Canadians. And perhaps we may be “spoiled” but have you actually seen the difference in class structure in most of Europe? The rich are rich and the poor are f****d so why would you want to make a comparison? If some of you have not noticed the change in gas prices is starting to effect Canadian/North American Economics, and will no doubt continue to do so. And yes, it will affect you because, even though you may be European and your people have worse gas prices in Europe, you are still living HERE in Canada.
It is a big deal to Canadians, and as gas prices soar skywards there are great consequences for Canadians economically in the future. I for one am pretty pissed about the whole situation and the lack of power we as drivers, we as Canadians actually have to change anything.
:werd:
It’s the same thing for young guys with clean records trying to find insurance. But we better not get started on insurance.
We have very little power, and we’re getting owned…
I filled up the other day $1.01 per liter (premium) I spent $60.00 to fill up!..Well at least now at a buck a liter it is easy to know how much you will spend to fill up your tank. If you are almost on empty and you are going to fill up you will spend as much as what ever size tank you have.
lucky for my the last time I filled up 91 only cost me like 91/liter or somthing like that it was 49 bucks for a fill from just about the E line.
Petro at VP & Sheppard is 99.9, REGULAR 87 gas.
