i dont know why, but i hate the pillar mounted ones
ive got mine under the deck - made a brushed aluminum bracket and it looks like the car had them stock

I also don’t like pillar pod gauges, too noticeable, the 515 vent ones and deck ones are the perfect combination imo.

LOL I cannot believe you asked that. Sorry, look at yours, you have a deck, and gauge holder, i have a slot below if u didnt see, thats where it will be at G.
thats where i have my guages now, and its really not that visible, you have to completely take your eyes off the road.
having the guages up higher is a lot more convenient.

I tried to stay away from the pillar and dash.
Common, is it really that hard to look down by the deck, we all do it all the time to change the station or song on the stereo.
So does running into shit or off the road while your trying to focus on your poorly placed guages

Regarding the 5one5 gauge pod, we designed it that way to ensure the gauges are ergonomically within the driver’s line-of-sight. The gauges are actually low enough that it doesn’t attract too much attention and in fact, it looks almost OEM.
Everyone has different tastes, but our designs are more for function than bling. As with our gauge pods, our reverse vented hoods and other items are functional–although, subjectively, I think they still look trick.
