I recently added this with my Geico policy about 5 months ago, but haven’t had to use it yet. However they required that I at least put comprehensive on the vehicle. I’m not sure if that’s right or not. But the added cost wasn’t a big deal and about half my daily commute is country roads with a fair amount of deer so I guess it could come in handy.

After a string of old BMW and vw ownership, I was kicked off of aaa gold. Bastards.

I have had CAA gold for years and used the shit out of it

strapped my plates onto at least 10 240’s to get them towed home… 100km’s average…

Also let others use the CAA plan including a top client who locked his keys in his car at a golf tournament… the thing pays for itself every second time i use it.

Incidentally… does it count as grand theft auto if you don’t take it and the person that does doesnt know they’re stealing it?

I was thinking about that the other day. calling AAA on a random car and having it moved to a random location. Talk about a mind fuck. I wonder how long it would take before someone found your car?

AAA booted me too. But I had it through my dad’s AAA, and he bought it (Christmas gift.) I’ve moved to a different town, and changed cars, and I’ve never given them my drivers license #, so how would they really know it’s me if I sign up again?

Chances are if you were booted from AAA you already got more than your money’s worth so it’s hard to feel bad for you. It’s not a personal flatbed service.

How do you guys get them to tow to your house?
My past 2 tow’s they wuldn’t bring it to my house. Only to a shop.

The one time I had a AAA tow (broken lower control arm autocrossing the Fiero) they towed it to my house no questions asked. I’m not sure if Geico will.
