How many of you have seen the commercial were they state that drivers that switch from Geico to All State save an average of $473 a year. :newman:
That’s a joke, after seeing that commercial 100000x times I decided to call and see if they could help me out, coverage for my Camry, Caddy, and Trans Am with full is $1672.00 a year in my name and my wifes with Geico.
All State quoted me $2954.00!!!
What a crock of shit!
I just wanted help you all save your time on making the call.
Geico has been the best insurance company for me since I was 17
Those commercials are so misleading, from every company.
Of course those WHO SWITCHED saved money. Why would anyone switch their existing insurance to something more expensive?
Geico is pretty damn good for rates and coverage in Buffalo. Whenever I switched, State Farm was ALWAYS 2-4 times the average of Progressive/Allstate/Geico.
I just got homeowners quotes from 6 different companies and they all wanted to give me a car insurance quote to try and combine policies. As soon as they heard what I was paying with Geico for what I get, they would be like “I won’t bother to waste the time” and skip that part.
they always say “people who switched saved an average of…” because obviously if the quote is higher than what they are currently paying they didn’t switch
I saved just shy of $600/year switching to Geico from Allstate. Originally went to allstate because like joe pointed out, they were cheaper. After watching my rates rise for unexplained reasons for awhile, I called Geico and was kicking myself for not calling sooner.
I just went back to Geico for my Acura and the wifes infiniti. I had allstate but geico was like $130 bucks cheaper for six months for the exact same coverage.
