Geico to All State, doesn't save you $473

After I did the online defensive driver class my policy is $275/6 months for full coverage with $250 deductible (0 glass) on an 07 TBSS. I’m under 25. Seems like no one can touch it.

I switched from Geico to All State back in July after Geico raised their prices in NY. I shopped around and All State saved me $200 per year and I got BETTER coverage (still did not have collision put on though). Currently on my 98 Civic it’s $300 per year.

I’m only paying like $1500 per year full coverage $250 deducts on a C5, M3, 08 Colorado and renters ins through Geico and I’m 23.

Truth… no one can even come close to what Im paying through Allstate.

The one thing to be careful about is if you do an online quote with allstate they dont put comprehensive on the quote… collision only…

so at first it looks like a GREAT deal until you start to see what they omitted on their “standard policy”

GEICO has the ability to offer better rates than most because there are more companies within the larger company. EX) GEICO Gov’t General, GEICO General, GEICO Indemnity, GEICO Casualty…Etc.
We just partnered with Travelers Insurance for Homeowners and are now offering a 3% discount on your auto when you sign up for a Renters, Rental, or Homeowners policy. This is the Department I work in at GEICO :wink:

I switched to progressive from all state in july and saved roughly $800 a year. I also got a quote from Geico but it was for about 300 less.

I drive a saturn ion, with full coverage and a $500 deductible, the insurance is $290 for 6 months from geico.

Allstate wanted double, every other place I looked at wanted double.

I just got my homeowners insurance through Geico also, it is through Traveler’s. I think I’m paying too much ($640/year), for a $1000 deductible.

I pay like $585 for full coverage on the 01 accord per 6 months. anywhere else was about double. i have been with geico for 5 years.

I know it seems high compared to everyone else, but remember I dumped the blazer in irondequiot bay.

$640 sounds halfway decent actually… How much coverage, if you don’t mind me asking.
I serviced a woman’s policy today was that $3800 a year. It was outrageous.

I pay $720 a year for full coverage on the jeep, glass, rental the whole 9. I’m with Nationwide, and have been for over 10 years. I’m also 32 and have a accident free driving record. I could change, and save a bit of money…but i get outstanding service with Nationwide…that’s worth the little bit extra i pay IMO.
