lose another bumper? or have you been keeping it off?
The sidewall on my slicks is fairly large and I’m running my control arms far enough forward where it would have rubbed. I don’t care about the rub, but I don’t have another spare ready to go and CSCS mandates bumpers for drift cars. I didn’t want to take the risk of damaging it and having someone complain/exclude me this weekend because of it. I’ve got some new parts being made which will allow me a large range of caster adjustment while being able to move the wheel back in the wheel well slightly so it won’t be an issue, as well as a splitter to help hold the bumper and hopefully clean up the front aero a bit. By the end of this season I’ll have mounting and rubbing completely sorted out.
