thinking i may be ready within 2 weeks. plans are alignment/inspection this wekeend. street tune and then get on it. took it out other night running off the wastegate spring-8lbs. sounded ok, picked up ok. but still slow as shit b/c 8lbs… was only scary to drive because car is very very very out of alignment. like i’d chew the tires up driving it the 20 miles to get it done bad. so gonna snag some wheels tires form work tomorrow and try to get it in at pauls on saturday or king’s–whatever i can get into asap.
Is the car down at West Newton? Have Martinelli’s do the alignment?

martinelli’s didn’t do a great job on one car in the garage… well… he siad that it was more out of alignment when he got it back than when he took it… so we try to stay away… at least i will.
i just got home from the garage. took it out tonight. all was ok until the little rubber o-ring on the sending unit broke, dumping gas everywhere. had probably 5-7 gallobns of 110 in it, and topped the tank off w/ 94. pulled out of sunocco in mp, and made it to the light by pnc. coasted down a block and took the 1 way alley the wrong way to the parking lot at teh diamond by goos.
proceeded to loose about 1-2 gallons going downhill just to where i parked at. then i cracked the line off the tank, and let the m-f-er drain into the lot until it stopped leaking out of the top of the sending unit. once it was down to 3/4 tank, drove it to habs garage and stole an o-ring from a gas tank he had.
so put about 50 miles on it tonight, didnt get to tune shit. only thing i accomplished was getting the speedo calibrated, and one gremlin fixed.
however, i think another popped it’s head too. if i roll into boost, im ok in lower gears. get it in 4th or 5th and try to do it, clutch slips liek a mofo. it is an old used clutch, solid 4 puck. didnt have the most meat on it but figured it would have got me goin. guess not.
so inspection, alignment. clutch disk, 1 valid dated safety harnesss, tune, finish my dump tube for wastegate and i think i will be ok to go.

well at least its up and running, thats a major thing to just be able to drive it around and work out the bugs…
car is inspeted. and running rich as fuck. only at 5lbs, and running like 10.5-1 a/f, lol.
still need some time. but getting closer.
