that used to be all I did when I was younger. I used to ride thru the woods near my house all the time.
I’m pretty sure at 6:15 that place was a horrid downpour hell.
I’m definitely down soon though, if we could do it on a weekend morning that would be ideal for me.
Diablo is open sun-sat til mid sept. i’m down for a sunday funday on the 7th if you wanna go benny. it wil be fun and you’ll learn so much, atleast more than your driveway.
It was for 615 yesterday and it was gorgeous haha. I’m game for a weekend morning ride sometime.
I’m getting an older Specialized Hardrock today, I’m down for tearing up CP
Todays no good for me I rode all day yesterday in Stowe and Waterbury VT did about 2600 ft of climbing and my legs need a day of rest plus there may be storms later but I’m free tomorrow evening if you’re down?
Where in CP?
Central park schenectady come down 7 turn onto. Golf road on the opposite side of 7 as the golf course. Take a right at the T and park in the little pullof about 300 feet up on the right.
Oh that registered as Clifton Park, not Central Park. :rofl
The choice of “tearing up cp” had me thinking this:
same here
I dont know of any riding in Clifton Park to be honest ha ha, theres the colonie town park by Guptils but thats a bit south of Clifton Park, and the STEP trails in Malta but thats north lol.
I just uploaded the GPS track of my ride from yesterday, theres some error in the elevation profile if you compare it to the topographic map, but its accurate enough to give a decent idea of the dumb amount of climbing that was rewarded with insane downhills.
STEP trails?
Possibly he’s referring to the Luther’s Forest Trails with access from the tech park? I used to ride there all the time. I’ve only gone once this year because I took up road riding. Took a nasty fall at Grafton last year and got skird I guess.
I have a Specialized Rockhopper that I break out sometime. I’m not a fan of Schen CP though because my buddy got his back window smashed the one time I rode there.
Yeah luther forest. Exit 12 and go east through the circles take a right past the fork on Hermes road, but I think they just recently changed the name of it so I’m not sure what its called now. You pass NYSERTA and then there’s a pulloff at the trailhead on the right.
I was at the group ride in central park where everyones cars got their windows broken. But luckily mine didn’t get touched. Also since then I haven’t had any issues. Also you can park at the baseball fields on golf road and its usually safer since there’s usually families or teams using the field so there’s more eyes around to look for suspicious activity.
I’ll be riding Central Park tonight around 615 if anyone wants to join. If the rain showers do materialize later I’ll still ride as long as its not a downpour or lightning.
Get Benny on some tough trails and make him attach his GoPro so we can see him wreck :lol
put it on my bike and i’ll follow him!
Dear someone: Buy my fucking laptop so I can buy a MTB.
I rode down at blue mountain reserve in Peekskill with my brother yesterday and I’m already itching to go back haha.
