Getting close to that time... Show us your winterization routine

For those of us not fortunate enough to have a heated garage.

Wash bike.
Add gas saver. Run it for 10 min.
Drain gas lines.
Raise tires off the ground.
Clean chain and re lube. Tighten if needed.
Do oil change/leave filter alone.
Remove battery.
Cover bike
When it’s all said and done, start looking for off season sales.

Missing anything?

I usually put it away after first snowfall.

Edit: Wipe the dust off you “Faster” DVD and place it next to the TV.

Oil change, remove water wetter, replace with coolant, add fuel additive, run bike for a few minutes to let the duel get into lines, wash bike, cover bike, and then lift it up on stands and hide it in the corner of the garage.

I still have never seen faster yet, I do however read the twist of the wrist and total contol series books over the winter.

Fill the tank with 100 octane( I only run 100 octane )
Throw a coat of wax on it.
Remove the wheels, put the original 10 holes back on it.
Throw the the cover over it.
Every week or so During the winter go out and start it up. let it run for about 15 minutes.

Mustang: fill it up with 93, change the oil, throw a cover on it, start it up about once a week or so (pretty much what I’ve been doing all summer since I didn’t drive it this year)

Jeep: take the 31s off and put the stock rims and tires on, take the soft top off and put the hard top on, grease the door hinge pins up real good so the doors will come off nice and easy next spring.

:lolham: c’mon now people

Put wood ramp down
Drive bike into my heated spare room

I don’t really have a bike, but if I did that is exactly what I would do.
