I guess it doens’t really matter since this section of this forum is for more than just motorcycles, but this thread was meant for bike winterization routines. I was just trying to be an interweb BA.
Quad guys? What do you do?
Put battery on trickle.
done?
i rode mine every month last year
ill have it up on stands, stable, full detail and wash, trickle
I hardly ride it anymore since the semester started
Same here. Its been parked at my girls garage next to her bike colecting dust.
i did nothing to my bike…:gotme: it needs a full rebuild and such anyway
wow serious business.
I park the car and come visit it in april lol when i put it back on the road lol. Maybe I should take a page out of your book
as for bike… lol If i had one…
Witch will take a half hour LOL
I change the oil, Because it needs it.
Fill with 93
battery tender
drive around garage randomly in middle of winter
lol, witch.
:bloated:
damnit jay… lol… +karma.
I watched Faster on my laptop at the hospital right after my son was born
I had Twist of the wrist and practical sportbiking…
But I lent them to Andre a few years back, and have not seen them since.
As for my winterizing, I add some fuel stabilizer and lube the chain.
Then, weather permitting, I ride. Salt washes off and nobody will want my bike by the time I’m done with it anyway
should i take the battery out of my cbr? or shout i just start the bike once or twice per week, let it run up to temp, and then shut it down (on the stands)?
You can just throw a trickle charger on the battery and it will be fine.
See custom title, mayberry don’t mind.
What jay said… batteries are cheap though… if it dies, I typically just buy a new one, (in 6 years, ive only had to do that once)
affix snow tires. Continue to drive.
total bike, get insurance money, buy a new one next year.
