GM IAT sensor swap

Has anyone switched over to a gm intake air temp sensor? I’m looking at moving mine over to the throttle body side for when i get my turbo kit installed and the stock sensor doesn’t really lend its self well to being in a charge pipe.

I happen to have a friend that had the GM sensor and in did a quick splice in and it did work but temp reading was off about 8c… Having said that the gm sensor seamed to be alot closed to what i think the temp was.

Here is the info i could find on both sensors, not very much to work with on the Nissan sensor.

GM

Temperature Ohms
48 degrees F 7000
87 degrees F 1930
146 degrees F 560

Nissan

Temperature Ohms
68 degrees F 2100-2900
122 degrees F. 680-1000

Anyone have any ideas?

Nothing? really?

what motor are we talking about here. 8-10 deg of difference are no big deal buy you need to verify that its not more than that. if you have a aftermarket ecu than you can recalibrate the injector, if you have a stock computer i can return for that sensor.

It is a stock 95 s14. There would be more then 8-10 deg of difference but only in colder weather and i only drive mine in the summer.
