i have and installed the gnx rear (see my car).no gnx sunroof or t-top options. different offsets on the rims and centers.very easy to tell. the most easy way to tell is the chrome strip across the top of the grill that splits in the center to form a sort of t in it. wanna know the differences from 85-86?

first GN? 82, two tone silver and black or maybe a dark charcoal. most had 4.1’s and the turbo 3.8 ones are VERY VERY VERY RARE. i think out of the 215 built 16 or so had the turbo engine.

rarest SC is 82 cause it was a GN sport coupe
quickest non GNX was 87 turbo T cause its the lightest if it was low optioned
no FWD car i know of ever had that engine stock but they made a lesebre GN
T-type in 86 and turbo T in 87
GNX= 276 hp
i would say 15 X7 or 14 X7
well the FWD cars were comming out , all the 88 g-bodys that were sold (monte and cutlass) were all built by december 87. the last car to come off the g-body line was a GN thou. the buicks ended in 87 but carried on production till late in that year

by the way it not for sure the 20 exactly had turbo’s in 82 it may be more or less than 20 but very close.
