orazios on main street in clarence. great italian food with a nice dinning area and moderately priced.

saigon or red peper is great for the azn dining.

what specific genre of food are you looking for… it easier that way to recommend a place. also how long of a drive we talkin here?

[/quote]

too much sugar in their sauce
try linguini’s instead

edit:
take said person to east aurora, and go to tantillas (sp).

Fat bobs?

That irish place is hit or miss. We ordered the nacho’s and the bartender’s response was “ah, no. You really don’t want the nacho’s. Try the guiness wings.” The guiness wings were pretty decent. The dude actually knew how to pour guiness too.

her parents wouldnt be caught dead in fat bobs.

i have a hard time listening to siiqqq 80’s hits in what is supposed to be an irish joint. the only good thing about that place is that they have talisker, and the bartender was pouring 4 fingers of it.

Next to Scarlet is the back entrance to Stillwater. Also very good.

Went here last night with the GF, she has celiacs and cant have gluten, they offer a lot of gluten free options.

The food, atmostphere and service was some of the best I have had in buffalo.

On the list of favorites for sure.

Curly’s does a lot of catering for The Red Cross (my gf works there), so I get to eat their food all the time, and it is indeed fantastic.

And for everyone saying Saigon Bangkok, try Saigon Cafe on Elmwood. Sooo much better.

Sinatra’s on Kenmore Ave.

Hardware for a great meatloaf (or any) sandwich. Say hi to Pat the bartender.

carmelo’s coat of arms or tantalus restaurant i totally agree with zerodaze on that one

pick up an artvoice, buffalo spree, buffalo rising, etc.

tons of good listings

My favorite restaurant still to this day is Left Bank on Rhode Island.

Hands down.

Idk if the irish place you guys are talking about was Brennan’s, but either way it’s a good place with a bar and a full restaurant. Not terribly expensive. Around the plaza on main and transit, near Tully’s

Negative, saigon bangkok is way better, and the fact that they owned saigon cafe would probably speak for the recipes and why they are soo similar.

Agreed 100%

Patrick ZPHATZ runs those places. His family owns both of them. I will say GREAT food.

They aren’t affiliated with each other anymore.

As for Bangkok being way better, I guess we’ll just have to agree to disagree. I wasn’t impressed with them. Plus, no patio and dark atmosphere FTL.

Curly’s is so good.

Aunt Millie’s in Irving is super good.

Rodney’s in hamburg on Rt.5 is fucking delicious.

Urbanspoon.com

Fucking awesome website for people who enjoy food.

Taken from urbanspoon:

Best Fine Dining

  1. Left Bank
  2. Hutch’s
  3. Rue Franklin
  4. Kennedy’s Cove
  5. Oliver’s
  6. Salvatore’s Italian…
  7. Village Inn
  8. Cammarata’s Restaurant
  9. Black & Blue Steak and…
  10. Buffalo Chophouse

10 ten rated by consumers.

i highly doubt salvatore’s belongs on that list. idiots who vote based on name

A lot of people really like that place.

I think it’s the suck.

it blows, soo fucking tacky
