x3 he knows his 200r4’s
yea i have a feeling a rebuild is in the future but just need to get my cable adjusted right for the time being. but will look into it. thanks
are’nt they like a 700r4. you just push the button to reset then push the pedal to the floor to set? if you have an aftermarket carb you need to make sure you have the right linkage or it won’t shift right.
yea i was reading about how to reset it but seemed like the button was sticking or something. but i ran out of daylight so could not mess around anymore. i do have a speed demon on it right now. when i was at summit i asked for the correct linkage for it but what they gave me does not seem right so i just used some studs from holley and hooked it up like that.
sounds like you need to the other bracket/linkage on. same thing happened to me with my old truck. edelbrock carb(with the wrong linkage) and 700r4. it would not shift rigt. early hard shifts. i put my q-jet back on and it was fine.
hmmm any chance you know what linkage i would need. i looked on the summit page and could not seem to find any for the demon carbs just the eddys and holleys.
call them or jegs.
