Something was wrong in his upper respiratory system in that it deprived him of oxygen long enough to make his brain swell and cause damage to the point where he couldn’t breathe on his own. They had him on oxygen, but he just wasn’t coming around, and I couldn’t let him suffer as a vegetable on oxygen.
Poor cat , I couldn’t do it either . It was the most humane way man
If he was an older cat I really wouldn’t mind as much, but he was so young. He still had a full life ahead of him.

adopted this big guy yesterday. we named him noma. so far hes been great and getting along with our boxer chevelle. his previous owner was dealing with an illness and was un able to keep him. they said he weighs around 65 pounds, he is big but i wont know for sure until we get him to our vet. i was told he was a boxer/american staffy mix. but to me he almost just looks like a pit. any opinions on what you would think he is?? more pictures to come.

yup. i caught it the day the ad went up and they pulled it down. yesterday i brought up chevelle to make sure they would at have a fair shot at getting along things went great and we took him.

Looks like a mix to me as well . Esp at that weight . Most staffies are topping at 50 lbs
