Not necessarily. You are required to attend a department hearing where they may suggest one of the following.

1)That the person be required to attend a driver improvement school.

2)That the person undergo an examination as provided for in section 1508.

3)That the person have his driver’s license suspended for a period not exceeding 15 days.

huh i stand corrected then I was under the impression it was 23:doh:

I got the 81 in a 55 in the TBird and it was $170 and 5 pts, over 31 then you’re in for it.

i had a 76.2 in a 45 on rt 65… went to court and they dropped it 100% almost 2 years ago now.

EDIT: what’s this about 31 and over? mine was 31.2 over and i didn’t need anything special about a departmental hearing…
