I don’t know why you guys are so upset. I remember a thread not 2 months ago where many cheered the idea of raising taxes. They that said that we should cut spending was called selfish and stupid. Lots of people said that we have to pay more and more taxes cause thats what civilized societys do, we support people.

Do you even fucking read? I said HEALTH INSURANCE should not be run for-profit. That doesn’t mean people don’t get paid it means you’re not trading the stock based on PROFIT increases of an industry that is supposed to TAKE CARE of people. For profit insurance ends up creating a system where the goal is to deny rather than to care for its customers. FYI, medicare has less bureaucratic economic loss than the private health insurance industry.
The government isn’t making profit you fucktard, we run deficits. The government NEEDS to start making profit so we can pay down the MASSIVE DEBT we have. Oh are you too stupid to know the difference between revenue and profit?

i cant stand people whining about how they dont want there tax dollars spent on social services programs, medicaid, basically anything to help anyone but themselves. you do know these programs are limited now its not like it used to be where you keep having kids and keep getting money you get 2 years or 5 years if you have children thats it once you are out they tell you go fuck yourselves. NY is also work first state which means if you want welfare they try placing you in jobs if you dont comply you dont get anything, problem is there are no fucking jobs.
Anyone bitching about how they shouldnt pay for others social programs suck a fat dick what would happen if all those people entered the job market??? you would either lose your job or take a big fucking pay hit then would whine about not being able to feed your family. the system is broken but at least its somewhat working, take away programs to help the poor and what the fuck do you thinks gonna happen.
