i dont know about all that. i have a 007 that ive used for almost 5 years, original o-rings, about 75k on the valve. never had an issue… alot of people use forge products with no problems.
Hey just speaking from shop experience here. Still have my account through them for their other products like cores and tanks for the euro Seats/Skodas/Renault rally car customers up north(cannucks), but I won’t use their valves again until they get their tolerances and materials straightened out. I’ve personally returned over a dozen of their valves that have failed in different manners, not to mention customer who have done so themselves). H-ano coating wearing through internally, piston seats hammered out of round(soft 4000 aluminum :nuts), new valves that never sealed out of the box, etc…077 to their RS model.
Just have had better experience and plain function with other valves out there that’s all…

im gonna attempt to use a bosch 710N on my 3071 at 23psi… itll be the true test of how good the stock valve is… you have absolutely no reason to not have the oem valve it place. you arent chipped, and your boost controller arrangment is STUPID, but dont take my advice, what do i know? all i have is a Forge 007P. ive had it on my B5 a4 1.8t and my GTI, the valve is 5 years old almost, and had over 50k on use. definently got my moneys worth. ive seen the 710N used on big turbo applications, just they used 2 of them… which is something id probably end up doing, one by the compressor outlet and one pre throttle body. but again, what do i know… put a stock 710n on, or get a forge 007, samco sport dv, eurojet urban warfare grenade. doesnt matter… the Greddy you have now would work just fine if you had a clue of what you were doing. its a recirculated valve, its designed for use with the particular application, the preload on the spring is off im sure. why dont you quit shade treeing, or having goodyear employee “mechanics” work on your car and have someone with a clue look at your car and properly configure the parts you have now
