so with the help of chris i found out my starter is good.
we went to turn over the motor, and it starting making a grinding sort of sound. then gas poured down the block on my forehead.
we turn it off, and i found out one of the high pressure lines on my fuel rail was leaking bad!
i dont think the motor was getting any gas at all.
the motor had plenty of oil, but i now the tranny has none as the bung wasnt even on it. so im pretty sure its drained.
anybody know what that grinding noise was?

Maybe the tranny/clutch is grinding since it has no fluid in it…When you start it, do you keep the tranny in 1st gear and Ebrake…or Neutral and ebrake?
^^the clutch doesnt use fluid…

are the teeth on your flywheel ok? if they arent, that might be a problem.

flywheel has been resurfaced not to long ago.
one of the members thinks it may be the starter itself trying to turn over for the first time, and once it gets going, it sould stop.
anybody?
