I’d assume you’d have to slow down close to the speed of a person gripping it wouldn’t you? I’d think if your not your going fly right off that U, but not to say I don’t think a bit of over steer hurt anyone’s times?..just don’t think traditional Drifting is the way to put it? But I support having angle and over steering thru some turn i think it also has reference to what your driving too right,
and for the guys who say rally drivers only hit those angles on the dirt that a misconception a prime example is the X games they have that bit of road course most divers are giving good angle through those road turns where it is appropriate just as well as dirt, again I believe it more of what your driving and where exactly is it accruing on the course your doing…
tough choice did some lapping @ cayauga and liked but if ur supension and tires are shit it REALLY shows on the track. kinda puts a damper on things, but still is a fuck load of fun despite all that.
drift is a bit more fun cause it’s a bigger rush though cause u can do when it rains and snows and, plus people look at u funny and it takes so long to stop grinning. sooooo long.
I can guarantee you are incorrect with that statement, if you were correct f1 cars would be drifting… and i thought downshifting makes u go faster silly me
i agree with you, i love grip! I dont like the entire judging aspect of drifting cause it can be bias like i have seen at Cayuga!! Example: man spun twice and still won you know he had a friend judging the drift contest that day!!!..
Road Racing you spin your in the back of the pack and have to EARNNNNNN getting back to the top, nobody can be bias there.

If you are going fast enough the back end should be drifting no matter what. Unless you are pushing the edge of traction you are not driving my friend.
If you lose traction you lose speed idiot… just cause your speedometer says 160km/h when your tires are spinning out of control does’nt mean your going 160km/h
