GROUP BUY: Cheap Tires/Wheels PART II

Yeah I figured they were discontinued i just happen to have a pair of them and looking around for another pair to complete the set. Those dunloop direzza looks pretty good to me, would like pricing on those.

Thanks

John can you get me a quote for:

a pair of RT-615’s 225/50/16

Thanks

Please pm me the price if you can

I just heard back from my supplier. He says they don’t normally post their winter inventory until early to mid-september.

If this group buy lasts that long I’ll keep checking on the status of that. Or, if there is interest (please post and show your interest so that I know!) I could do third group buy maybe in late september or november.

^^^^^^

that would be cool. looks like i will be driving my 240 though the winter and will
need tires. i for one am interested in a set of winters.

peace

well if these are for your 240, i might recommend using a different size than you are asking for unless you are not putting these on your stock wheels

it’s a common misunderstanding that wider tires are more ideal for snow traction but in reality, within reason, the smaller you can go - the better.

I recommend considering the 195/55/15 Hankook Winter iPike if you are mounting on your stock 7-spokes.

as an example of this theory - look at any snow rally photos and look at the tires they are running. probably a lot smaller than a 195 and most of those cars make 250whp +

The idea is that the tread is very effective and the more weight you can concentrate on a smaller area only improves its effectiveness.

To Max: please dont argue this point, it’s a very basic means of explaination and we already know what you’re going to say. k thx

If there are any problems with stock and cannot be ordered for couple weeks/month then you can take my name off the list. It will make the GB too complicated if you can’t get all the tires at once, also making it more hassle for you.

thanks again buddy!
