GTO going to be at the track Friday? I’d love to run it!
I need to set it up for the track, new clutch, tires and drag bags i think it would be pointless to run at the track right now but i am always down for a roll

i never took the gto Ran the Subie covered in mud up there they didnt like that very much. but I was up there Josh and Deathproof01 and ran the vette a few times but looking foward to taking the goat alot when its set up right. i might run it once before my new clutch DRs and drag bags just to see the improvement.
Why is it apart

im changing my headers around (getting rid of my nasty rusty ones for new ceramic coat ones), getting rid of my AC and EGR.
Nooo AC is nice!
I race my car with full AC lol.
The vette will be running very soon…new tires are in the mail, and the clutch is almost broken in.
She is out but I’m granny shifting.
my AC wasnt charged and i NEVER use it anyway… took a whole 20 mins to take it out, i mostly did it to clean up the engine bay, looks so much nicer with no EGR or AC
Hell yeah! I ditched my AC a long time ago. I was sick of paying over $200 for just about anything and everything I had to replace in the system. I removed EVERYTHING. The front condenser, the compressor (usually the 1st to go), the accumilator, the rest of the lines, and even dug into the heater box inside the car to get the evaporator out. Probably a lose of 30lbs+/-~ all together. My only pieve with not having AC…when its like 80 something out, humid as fuck, and raining. I’m pouring sweat those days.
Just be careful, once you start removing stuff to cut weight, it gets addicting. Before you know it, you’ll have removed your intire HVAC system (all the plastic heater core housing, the ducts under/behind the dash) ect…like 60lbs. :snky:…just sayin’ 
i love my ac and all of my 3800Lbs if i want to go faster i will make more power!!!
^^^Right! Sounds like a good plan. It makes it sound so cool man. But, for us people that like to do “free” stuff, saving a bit of money…by not spending any, it works out for us. But, for people that want to sound bad ass…yeah, making more power sounds awsome. lol…
I’d have to agree with Tim on this one. I’m keeping my AC and toys, if I need to go faster that bad I’ll add more juice. 
Plus our LSx’s can make what 1000hp with AC…so why not keep it?
I am not say i would never do it or haven’t I took it off my 240 Just on the gto it is pointless

I think it gave like 90hp/125lb-tq to the tires
with the jets that came with the kit it only made 60whp. but with jets that mike had, it now makes 430hp with 500Lbs. However one time when i sprayed it pulled freakesly harder than the rest?
