GTP - Resonator broke... replace or straight pipe?

I have a 2000 GTP, and the resonator is all types of broken.

My choice is to either replace it with a new SSteel Resonator or just go straight pipe.

Muffler Man said they could do either for $120… but that seems pricey… especially for a straight pipe.

Opinions?

(BTW, I wouldn’t mind a bit of extra performance / gas milage… but NOT if it makes the car sound like like either a Truck with no exhaust or a Honda with to big of an exhaust… tip)

i actualy just looked at about 500 pictures of vacation a honda-tech member took to japan last week and i am completely amazed and in awe of the amazing culture.
i have no advice on your exhaust.sorry

Btw my normal mechanic’s number is disconnected…
Abid at Quality Auto on Colvin I hope he is still kick’in and gets it fixed

Otherwise, who would you guys suggest to get it replaced?
^- Leaning towards just a new Stainless Steel Resonator

don at mufflerman did mine for 40 bucks lol, straight pipe and ubend delete.

Save the environment…buy a new car.

dumb 2000$ inspections :cjerk:
