just got back and they have the 100 rounds for $41.99, and they are selling the 1000 round cases again for $389.
I just picked up 100 rounds on lunch from BGC for $38.
i shot a walther p22, a 44 and and a 45 last weekend… first time shooting pistols, or a gun for that matter… i wish the NY permit app was quicker

Oh and for those that reload, BGC had small rifle primers, CCI 400’s are only sold by the 100, but you can get a 1,000 brick of some other ones. I got those, 35 bucks, not bad price.
And they have varget in the small jug, for those that reload the good stuff.
If you guys don’t reload, keep your brass and I will toss you a few bucks for it.
I reload, just put together some .223, 70gr barnes bullets, with 27 grains of Varget. Yes, its compressed, to the max. I also have some decent v-max 55gr rounds, and plinkers. All told 300+ rounds are going down range today. If fireworks are illegal, I will make noise somehow on my holiday!

Bump. Went shooting at the swamps for the first time ever. It was easier than I thought. I was able to shoot an AR, AK and a shotgun. I think my form needs improvement though, lol.

The swamps are only 20 minutes from my house, but I have nothing to hod targets.
I have several hundred rounds of 9mm in my backpack ready to go. The wife and I will get there eventually to use some of them.
What were ya’ll shooting at? LOL at recording shooters and no results.

We had some paper targets setup. As a first timer, I thought I’d be able to tell when I hit the target but nope, lol. There’s no way the drone would have been able to capture the targets being hit.
There are some inexpensive metal spinning targets on Amazon that I’m thinking of getting. Something where I can see and hear the shot hit.
Do not bring metal targets to the swamp, unless you want to get an earful from DEC or other shooters.
So, no fun drills like on YouTube then aye.
If you want to have fun you need to find someone with land that will let you shoot there without all the BS of the swamps or gun ranges.

Last time I drove by there it was covid’ed closed.
There was still trash everywhere. broken TVs and other crap people were shooting at.
Apparently if you’re not there claiming a spot at 9-9:30am you won’t get one. We watched several people show up at noon thinking there would be room but there wasn’t.
