Gutting pre-cats

I am going to tackle this while I am working on other technical/tuning issues (boost izzues). I am still not even sure I will want to do it once I get under there for that matter I am not even sure if the precats are still intact.

Anyone else do them on their own?

Personally I wouldn’t bother, I’d go all the way when you can afford it and get downpipes (instead of gutting your pre-cats). Well worth it in my opinion.

But gutting is certainly a short-term cheap fix… shrug

Yeah I know but from what I am reading DP’s don’t offer big gains over gutted pre-cats. So really thats several hundred $$ just for a a few HP like, < 10?

I’m bored! I can’t sit by and let valueable HP go to waste!

I am changing my PCV valves right now… what a bitch the drivers side is!!
