there was a pic circulating for a week or so about the new z06. all of a sudden it had dissappeared from all the sites, at the demand of GM. the one guy on the forum supposedly got a visit from some GM employees over it.

yeah they r similar. but at the time u claimed that pic u found was straight from GM (which it wasnt, it was a photoshop someone on corvetteforum made based on rumors). I’m not claiming this pic i posted is from GM either, i’m just relaying some interesting info about it. whether its from GM or not, GM has had it removed from all the vette message boards. I dont recall GM ever acting on that pic you posted. i’m not trying to ‘one-up’ you, Blue. just passing along that there is some significance of this pic. so please drop the ‘Know-It-All’ bullshit and take my thread for what its worth…not a dis on you. just some info i came across, with a wierd story involving a guy that posted it.

the photo i posted, which was posted on ls2.com, GM made them take that one down, along with some spy “mule” pics of a white Z06 with camo bras on it. Also they made them remove the LS7 engine pic, which showed the 3 valve heads, etc.

yeah…GM still wants to keep the wraps on the Z06…a friend of mine spent the day at Mallet Cars on Saturday…had the chance to drive a 1400HP CTS-V (on Methanol) and a 700+ HP Mosler…which only weighs around 2000lbs - guess what else he saw…a C6 Z06. He said Mallet did some work on it for GM…It doesn’t even have a VIN and GM requires Chuck Mallet to destroy it after all testing is finished…and, of course, no pics were allowed!!
