h22 or ls/vtec boost?

Ok here it goes, 2 years ago i went 11.87@118 on BFG drag radials, there where alot of things going good for me that night, track was fast,my shifts where damn near perfect, my car was setup perfect. and i was revving a stock ls to 7600RPM…this was all with 262whp…

Iff you have a stock ls in your car and running, There is NOT a chance i would take it out and put an h22 in it…I have been there and would not even think about duing it again…Here are some questons for you, Are you keeping Power steering OR AC? is this your daily Driver?

You want to talk about Hype! H22 got is writen all over it…If you only knew how many times i heard people talking about “the soon to come h22 swap” it makes me want to puke…or they say you should put an h22 in it…

Ok next with the LS Tech. The ls heads can not flow anything. the ONLY thing they are good for is. Running on a STOCK ls bottem end. becasue in the case you run a stock bottem because the bottem will hold less then the head can flow…

yea i am sure you can port,polish,spring, retainer and cam the ls head. in this case it *might flow as good as a bone stock GSR or B16 head with that said i can move on

LS vtec VS GSR
My Setup is a GSR block GE sleeved to 84mm and i am useing a ls crank so it is an LS vtec…After i did this i wish i used an GSR crank just for the fact it would spin higher…but after duing research Most people use the ls crank because it helps more then it hurts… people are spinning there ls cranks to 11,000 RPM over 800whp…

This is hella mispelled i am sure but it is early for me…

With this all said,LS turbo is you starter way into things. I will tell you there is not a chance any Stock H22 will touch a mildy boosted LS

The K’s 6 speed trans isn’t geared right for drag racing, IMO.
