I like cats way more than I like dogs (I’m kind of a clean freak and dog slobber pisses me off) but when I lost my 14yr old german shepherd in March of 08, it did hit home pretty good.
Hope your cat makes it through okay. But damn there is a lot of hypocrites on this forum.

anyways…
me and my fiance were going to stop by today after work and see her. my mom called ahead to ask if this was ok and see how she was doing.
They said I cant come. I guess her face is really swollen, she isnt eating and is in Trauma unit and with me coming it will raise her anxiety. They have been feeding her with needles and shit.
my mom is pretty much falling apart about it…im fine right now, but its hard to be strong 100% of the time.
on a side note, I think it was a “fisher” that got ahold of her. One of our neighbors said they have been seeing them around lately and they have been hiding under porches and decks.
Shit, Fishers are mean little bastards. If theres Fishers around the cats definetly need to be kept inside, your little guy was probably lucky to even make it out alive after encountering one. He mustve done a number on the Fisher too to get away.
I was asking which vet you brought your cat to because my gf has worked in probably 5 or 6 different vets in the area, she currently works at the VCA next to prestige in CP.
this cat is tiny. She is 8 years old and weighs 8 lbs soaking wet but she has always been a tough cat.

john, i realize there was nothing that could have been done about that stay cat laying half dead in the tree, but lets have a little respect for the people who do in fact love cats and or other animals around here.
i for one will say this with confidence, if anyone were to harm either one of my cats, i would not hesitate to cut off there limbs and send them for a swim.
