NOT FOR ME, my buddy went into his apartment for like 2 minutes thinking nothing of it cause other parking spaces were too far away, comes out, 80$ ticket, amherst, should he fight it? his argument is that he had to carry furniture out to his car and didnt want it to be too far, personally, i think :picard:
if he doesnt have a job, or has a low paying job he could try to fight it or get it lowered as long as his record is super clean. i make more than that in a day so it would be cheaper for me to just pay it. i’ve had to do that with a stupid tail light ticket i couldn’t get fixed in time due to a faulty harness.
If he fights it he will appear to be a huge dick because someone will say he may have taken the spot for some one who really needed it.
but kinda off topic, what the hell is up with so many handicap parking spots at walmart and target? holy shit, I can never get a good spot.
And there needs to be some sort of enforcement when people who can legitimately walk use a handicap spot, irks the shit out of me. Most of them are fat ass wastes of life who have ankles bigger than my neck, or a family member of someone who needs it, but isnt with the person at the time. But I guess it means one more spot for me, but on the other hand it takes a spot away from the cripple who cant walk. /rant, sorry
Go and pay it. They might even offer a reduction. I got one a long time ago because I was over the line (the whole row was shifted because of 1 asshole). I payed $30.
handicap stickers are a waste… my uncle who has a “bad back” was able to get one but my grandpa who has a bad hip was denied one. im thinking about applying for one saying i have bad asthma and cant walk to far it. it might work
Well any “normal” person would expect to get a ticket for this, and therefor would have not park in a handicapped spot in the first place.
I conclude anyone whom; does park in a handicapped spot, does not expect to be ticketed, and to actually have to go through and pay for the ticket, to be retarded.
If he is retarded he should have been granted a handicapped sticker in the first place. I place the blame society and the government for not helping this poor retard out.
My advice for your friend would be to join a home.
