Have you ever noticed...

Have you ever noticed that pasta tastes different if you put it in before the water boils?

i just made that mistake… it tastes so bland. but if you but it in AFTER the water boils, it tastes so damn good… I dont get it…

Aren’t you supposed to ‘cook’ pasta with water, oil and a bit of salt?

At least that’s how I do it :dunno:

The only pasta you cook is Kraft cheese and macaroni and then you eat it with ketchup and pretend it’s homemade Italian tomatoe sauce you manjicake you.

But yes your right that’s how it’s done.

the point is that he put it in the pot before the water boiled

how much salt or how much and what type of oil is irrelevent to this!

I use Whole Wheat pasta and boil it with just water. No salt or oil.

I doubt i could tell the difference.

It tastes best like that. Big ups to whole wheat pasta.

^OMG Andrew your alive!

I haven’t seen you post for a while

What the hell are we talking about here,

what you have to do is preboil 5L of water and 2tsp pf salt, 3tsb of oil and 4tbs of urine, let it boil for about 12.5 min and then after you drain it you have to rinse it with Hot water to remove all the starch.

but see, i f-ed up and put the pasta in right away before it boiled, without oil and without urine (i’ll have to try that one next time)

so the pasta tasted weird…

Try Italian urine for that authentic taste.

You’ll find plenty on St.Clair.

SNAP

GF claims the oil keeps the water from overboiling…no taste diffrence…Ill have to try throwing it in the pot before its boiled…i usually wait for it to boil…however i cant wait for the oven to warm up and my delissio  Its too good…i have no pateince for that

Oil helps the pasta to not stick together.

^^^^^^^Shes in for a donkey punch tommorow…Full out with my gloves but no donkey suit :(…i dont have one…yet.
