Headlight Restoration!!!

No more sun oxidation! I just got a headlight oxidation kit and attempted this for the first time and was amazed how good they came out. Took me about 1 hour total and that included taping everything off so the scuffing/sanding stage didnt scratch the paint! Pm me if you need this done, what a difference. The headlights actually let light threw, my buddy can see the road again!

Driver side done. Passenger side not yet done.

I have to get some dents out first, probably a new front bumper… Looking for the spring though… I’ll have to wait until then…

Then i have to brakes, and some other stuff …

Track stuff > car looks right now… I’ll definitely let you know. I’ve just been too excited about tracking it instead of how it looks

haha yea i noticed that too oh well, hes a good guy just doenst have a ton of $$$

Very nice! All of the Chrysler products from that era have that issue. I need to do that for my mom’s Legacy soon. I used a $10 kit from the auto parts store a while ago on a few lights- it worked great for some, but wouldn’t do anything for the Chryslers.

nice.

i need to the lights on my car, but more-so for road debris. how much?!

They sell the kit at advance auto

i know but id rather have someone else do it

I almost started a biz down here in Phx doin that…mass cars down here with that prob…

lol lazy :stuck_out_tongue:
I’ll come with Jim sometime and do it if you want, lol.

Or you could just wet sand it if you don’t want to use a kit ;O

I have a feeling the kit is easier though :stuck_out_tongue:

thanks guys…

did you get the kit at advanced auto? I remember someone saying they got something like this from eastwood.

I am in dire need

However this kit alone did not look good enough for me, so i also do a 2 stage buff with compound and glaze.
I will do it for you with a small fee… I just pm’ed you

Does this “restorer” that’s in the kit have a UV inhibitor?

My Legacy needs this VERY badly. Ridiculous how bad the lights can get.
