headlight stuckn up

hey guys

i dsocnnected my battery to do some wiring, (hks evc 5) and whene verything was said and done i went to connect the battery again and the headlight sra enow stuck in the up position

the ponly wire i tapped into was one of the ignition wires and you cant back the headlights off by hand, the motor unwinds and just keeps them up again.

anybody had this happen before?

hmm…if you have a manual around or can get access to one online,
I remember reading up on the service manual where u disconnect the battery, take off the caps and manually turn them to the off position and connect it back…

sorry if u’ve tried that already, but that’s all I can think of @ the moment.
