Does anyone on here know anything about Health benefits? I need to purchase Health Benefits for our daughter until next January.
call katan feretti, they should have something
I’ll check but I’m not sure they have health benefits… I think they would only have life insurance, car insurance, ect…
state farm has health insurance, why wouldn’t they?
I;m not being a dick,
What exactly is your question and what does it pertain to. I can alwasy ask my dad since he owns his own buiness and deals with all the time.
I;m sur eyou know, its going to be expenisve
Oh wait a min. Is this your new born? You guys may be eligible for the Chips Program through Blue Cross :dunno:
Especially if its due to hardships (not saying yoru poor) just throwing out suggestions
the dumb ass in HR never added her on the insurance when it was renewed while she was on maternity leave, we didn’t know she wasn’t on there until the other day. now we have to wait till december to add her
The “dumbass” called me today crying because this got so fucked up then told me it was my fault.
If it is anything based on income… we can’t get it. I know it is going to be expensive to buy it but the other option is to just pay for it… 6 in one an half a dozen in the other.
I’m gonna check the CHIP thing… Eurodad is “unemployed” and we may be elligible based on that.
ouch, i would keep fighting with HR…
Ok what I would do is look into the CHiPs Program (yes thats how its spelled). I think they have a program that will help you guys out.
It was primarly set up for low income families but for some reason I think they branched to stuff like this.
Other than that I would call your insurance carrier directly and tell them what the idiot did. They may beable to help you out.
I am going to… but in the mean time… she needs to go to the doctor for shots…
Cool. Also see my other post…
Kennametal has Blue Cross Blue shield… BUT… it is governed and managed by Kennametal… Blue Cross Blue Shield is only paid to do the paperwork… They can’t help.
I called Benefits last week and yelled at them then proceeded to hang up on the bitch I was talking to.
Also I just remembered. They may have a clause in your insurance coverage that your child is automatically covered. I know we have this. They do thsi due to the open enrollment programs and only certian times fo the year.
How is anyone going to predict when they are going to have a kid so they cover it as long as you are covered.
Again call the insurance company direct.
She was covered for 30 days automatically… Then I had another 30 days to notify the benefits group she was born. 6 weeks of those total 60 days I was at home on Maternity leave. Also the open enrollment was during my maternity leave. They were notified within 5 days of her delivery that I had the baby. At no time did anyone tellme anything about time frames.
I fucking hate this company.
Yeah trust me I feel your pain with “Problems” involved with HR.
Don’t dick around, just call the insurance direct and fight it with them. If you have to get your president of the company involved. This other HR person is probably won’t help because she doesn’t get paid enough.
Talking to the insuance company direct should get it solved. This can’t be the first time an idiot has done somthing like this. If we have a problem with our insurance we call and work up the chain. Also get your doctor involved if it becomes a big enough issue.
Documentation and who you talked to is king.
Other thing I thought of talk to your family doctor. Somtimes they will work it out with you as well. They may charge you something like $50 bucks but give you the shots anyways and “write” them off.
Jenn’s chiropractor is doing this with her back right now due to the car accident. What ever she runs over with that the the insurance won;t pay for he is just going to keep treating her and write it off.
exactly it’s your company’s policy, not the insurance company denying your coverage. kick scream and yell, i used to do a company’s benefits and sometimes magically things would get backdated to fix problems just like this…
