heater help please

problem has to do with my girlfriends car. its an 03 ep3.(honda civic)
it all started on halloween night.
dressed as a zombie, i creamed the fuck out of a dear.
this caused it to fly over the roof and over a guard rail.i got out, screamed for about 10 minutes and then relized the guard rail had a 100 foot cliff on the other side so i felt alittle better knowing the deer is pushing daisys.
the car needed:
hood
bumper
headlights
bumper and a fender.
two days after while stopped at a light, the heat cuts out ans starts blowing cold air.i get moving again and it blows hot…stop, cold.
so i pull in the garage and take a peak under the hood.
the rad has a very small leak in it due to an antler.so i figured the reason for the on and off heat was the low coolant level not making it to the heater core until i put load on the motor…i put coolant in and same thing.
car got all the body work and a new rad done tonight and as im driving home…guess what? same fucking thing.and i cant really check the fluid in the rad because the overflow is hidden in the bumper.

i checked the heater core fuse and its fine.
so im stumped.
is there one of those little corkscrew pieces on the core that selects fan speed? i know if those go out it stops the heat…
sorry for the huge story

air pocket… not sure on the EP’s bleeding procedure, but it’s probably got air in the heater core.

thermostat?

edit- or what he said ^^^

did you use the right 50/50 mixture?
W/ engine warm , check heater core hoses to see if they are hot.

Flush and fill with right mixture and get rid of air pockets

theres an idea i havent thought of.maybe ill try that.
fuck bleeding nipples ill just hold it wide open with no cap on.

yes or course 50/50.
good idea i will
