I’m home alone and I need a 2nd person to help with the bleeding.
I konw I posted about my clutch being burnt but just a while ago when I
tried to reverse the car out, the clutch grabbed like normal and my car
just lunged in reverse.
I the noticed my clutch pedal would stick (as in I would press it and it
would stay pressed in and then it would pop out fast).
I want to bleed it to see if that would help and if not then I guess last
resort is to replace the clutch itself.
It’s 3pm on a Sunday. Sometimes after 4pm would be convinient.
It’s a pretty simple process, i did it on my silvia.
Top up the master cylinder, then bleed at the diffuser block thingy, then bleed at the slave.
A lot of grey gunk came out of mine.
Use clear tubing if you can, then you can see when the fluid is flowing clean.
What size tubing do I need again? 5/16" or something?
Is it the same size used for brake bleeding?
Mike (spd-dmn) don’t worry about coming on weekdays unless you got
nothign better to do. I don’t get home till 6:30-7pm so I won’t be in the
garage till after 8 or 9pm. Call first if you want to come.
