Help in Choosing a Bike

where’s the gear? :nono
congrats on the purchase, looks sweet (except for the chromed out can)
if you decide to take off the plastic post some pics, I wanna know what it looks like nakked.
does it have a bolt-on subframe or is all welded together?

I took the gear off in the parking lot because it was a million degrees but no i’m not going to strip it. But thanks!

I can relate to the “but’ its teh pretteh!!!1” reaction to removing the plastic idea.
but unless you want to keep the bike for a long time and don’t care if it gets dinged/scratched, you take a much smaller hit in
value at resale if the bike goes down without the plastic on it, at least while you’re learning.
your call though.
or you can look into getting frame sliders for it, maybe now that they tweaked the frame they’re an option.

yea well now that I see him on the bike I realize how small it is, I dont think he needs to go so far as taking the fairing off actually… just be carefull, i think the only thing that you really have to pay mega attention to is… not showing off… or attempting to… cuz really when you think about it, at least for me 80-90% of close calls are results from showing off, at least thats what i have realized…

I see you learned how to ride a bike better than this guy…

anyways cool, get another can on there and extended swing arm with a 190 tire on the back, i think tehy sell turbo kits

haha joking, the only thing they could do really to make it look even better is change the exhuast can, and put a wide (unnecessary but cool looking) tire on the back

true, but sometimes people just do stupid things from lack of experience.
like trying to pull a quick u-turn by hitting the breaks hard and twisting the bars

haha joking, the only thing they could do really to make it look even better is change the exhuast can, and put a wide (unnecessary but cool looking) tire on the back

the swingarm on those is pretty narrow, doubt it would fit.
I also doubt he’d wanna screw around with rejetting the carbs when it starts to run lean on a diff exhaust ;D

that thing looks sweet, how many miles ya got on it now?

ya i hear on that, rejetting is kind of a pain in the ass if you dont know what your doing, btw those bikes are carbed still ? wow…

and btw i had a nice experiance with turning at slow speed hittin the breaks… hahaha i was like “DUH ! wtf u doin…”

oh and the tire thing i was saying if they did that as part of the bikes design, pre production, not a mod you do or anything, but i know its totally useless thats why it hasnt been givin a wider tire

I just got around to watching this, wtf.
they’re teaching a complete noob who doesn’t know how to ride to do a wheelie on a 929?!
no wonder the fucking bike 12’o’clocked even in second gear
first gear he’d probably squish himself with it without even moving

Bought it with 4.5 miles on it. It now has 102. 2 days later :o)

LOL i know, and the worst part is he wasnt even sorry about it, I understand the guy who owned it shouldnt flip out, I wouldnt either thats the risk you take letting someone ride your bike, but the n00b who wrecked it could of at least been like sorry or SOMETHING instead of crackin jokes lol hes probally a bitch

the bike was clearly a stunter though, note the tail bracket and the white zip ties sticking out where the windscreen was ;D
all around stupidity on that one.
if someone asked me to ride my bike telling me they know how to ride, and then asked me what the kick-stand is,
I would drop-kick him in the face.

:highjack2 :nono

we’re bumping it
post moar pics!

The ass shot I forgot to post:

Picking it up from delivery:

man, that fender is huge
hacksaw should do the trick though :crackup

The eliminator kit is on the way :o)

Very nice man!

Gorgeous!!! So jealous. Might have to go put myself on the waiting list tomorrow… :wow

nice and yea show pics when you get that wierd looking fender thing outta there , damn :stuck_out_tongue:
